Wood: Native northeastern lumber, primarily hard maple and pine. For some items, as labeled, cherry is also used. A state of the art production processes assure high yield with minimal waste. The use of high quality wood such as hard maple assures excellent durability and years of enjoyment.

Finish: Only non-toxic finishes are used, and the colors are stains, not paints, so the beauty of the wood is always visible. All surfaces and edges are sanded smooth for safety.

Safety and Age Recommendations: All of our products with small parts or moving wheels should be considered for ages three and up. These products  teach children letters and other shapes from their environment, preschool is the appropriate age range for the trains and similiar products.
