Free Birthstone Angel Pattern

Step 1:

Place three 4 mm faceted beads on a safety pin

Place two 10 mm star flake beads on top of them

Place two 12 mm star flake beads on top of them

Place three 18 mm star flake beads on top of them

Place one 4 mm faceted bead on top of them

Close the safety Pin

Repeat 9 more times (you should have 10 pins)

 

Step 2:

Cut 6 inches of beading wire

String the 10 finished safety pins through the closed circle end of the safety pins, (keeping the direction of the pins all the same)

Pull ends of the wires together tightly and twist several times

Snip off ends of wire

        

 

Step 3: Bottom Skirt

Cut 15 inches of beading wire

String the wire through eye of one of the opposite end of one safety pin

Place one 4 mm faceted bead next

Place three 18 mm star flake beads next

Place one 4 mm faceted bead

Now add in the very next safety pin, and work a similar pattern until all the safety pins are wired and have equal beads between them

Pull ends of wires together tightly and twist several times

Snip off ends of wire

 

Step 4: Upper Body

Cut 9 inches of beaded wire and fold in half

Place both ends of the wires through the small hole in the halo, push halo up the wire but leave about ˝ inch until the end

Place both ends of the wires through the center of the 18mm circular pearl bead

Place both ends of the wires through the center of one 12 mm star flake bead

Place both ends of the wires through the center of one 18 mm star flake bead

Place both ends of the wires through the center of one 24 mm star flake bead

Place both ends of the wires through the center of the 30 mm skirt cap (keep nice side toward the top)

               

Place both ends of the wires through the center of the bottom of the skirt

Flip over and separate the two wires, place an 18 mm star flake bead on one of the wires and then push to the top of the underneath of the bottom skirt

Bring the two wires back together and twist several times

 

Step 5: Arms

Cut a 6 inches of beaded wire

Push the wire between the 18 mm star flake bead and the 24 mm star flake bead on the body section and cross each end to the other side (obviously wrapping around the center wires)

Starting on one side, Place a 12 mm star flake bead, an 8mm faceted, three 6mm faceted, and one 4mm faceted bead, cut wire a tad longer and wrap wire back over the 4mm faceted bead that you just put on

Now do the same for the other side

 

Hot Glue the wings to the back!
